a memo on friendship.

I am starting the post by asking what is friendship? How can we evaluate friendship?

Is it a give and take bond or it is a bond to fulfil our selfish demands.

My personal opinion is we cannot put friendship into words, but we can put it into one simple expression, which we all make when we see our friends. Which is one big smile on our face and that smile is so pure and genuine that even god feels blessed at that time to notice that from the sky. when we are at preteens stage, maybe 9 or 10 years old, that is the stage when we are untouched by other compulsive things like greed and fulfilling our selfish desires. All we wanted is to play and laugh and all of a sudden we found someone who is playing and laughing with us. Who portrays you in himself. Who is a reflection of yours and after that moment you two always want to be around, with each other and do all the crazy things like fighting together with others, getting scolded by teachers, cheating in an exam. as we get older the emergence of various factors which hinders friendships comes to appear in our mind. my question is from where do we get these bad traits like ego, selfishness, non-forgiveness traits? the answer is from the world, simply by listening and watching to the world. we become too blind that we start showing our ego to the person who cares most about us and what we get after showing personal pride, nothing. in fact, we lose the one who stands right by us for no selfish reason. friends are like a team player of a football game, who watches your back and if you did something wrong then they are there to make things right. So cherish this bond which is thicker than blood and stronger than diamond only if it is pure.
